Maga Momiji is a parody of a Gyate version of Touhou Project graphic symbol, Momiji Inubashiri, edited to habiliment a Maga hat. On 4chan, the image is featured in various image macros and edits every bit well as several other online communities such as r/The_Donald and Twitter.

On January 2nd, 2016, an anonymous user began posting an images of Gyate Momiji[i] to /pol/'s /ptg/, each paradigm captioned with a variation of, "This is a movement." This associated phrase was later changed to, "This is an awoovement," afterwards several bearding users corrected a typo on a post that stated, "This is an motility" [2].
The first known version of the parody was made on January 7th, 2016, when an anonymous user replied to the posts with a Trump version of the paradigm labeled ANIME GREAT AGAIN.[3]

Later on connected posts over the next few months, on April 29th, 2016, an anonymous user on /pol/ wrote a small caption to why Awoo was advocated on the board (shown below).
Outside of 4chan, the paradigm was also spread to r/The_Donald, where it was featured in shitposting generals posted past moderator u/Trump-for-life titled, Tardily Night Awoo Corps. The concluding post in the series was fabricated on August 26, 2016 and received ane.5k upvotes and 356 comments.[4] After the epitome was adopted as a mascot by 4chan's /pol/, diverse image macros and photoshops of the image began to beginning to broadcast around 4chan'southward dissimilar boards.

On, Feb 18th, 2017, the website animeright.news was created.[5] It is a right wing online publication that releases articles centered on politics, social media, and animanga topics. It's original logo was a red pill with the site's name inside.[6] Since at least November 17th of that year, that logo has been phased out and a photoshop of MAGA Momiji with a printing hat and microphone has been the site'south mascot (shown beneath).[7]
Since at least July tenth of that year, the bottom of each article has featured a rating organisation that gauges a variety of unique reactions, each represented by a different MAGA Momiji photoshop.[8] These include "Almonds Activated," "The Fire Rises" and "My Eyes!!!", all shown beneath.[nine]
At some point between March fifth and March 15th, 2019, the hats worn by the Momijis became Yang Gang hats in reference to Andrew Yang. [xi] Complementing this, the website's color scheme inverse from red and white to majestic and yellow.
